Duties included supporting AIX 5.3.x and IBM Pseries 590 hardware. I did performance tuning and kernel configuration on a 9119-590 with six LPARs doing DSS and OLTP with Oracle 9. Tasks included performing software, hardware installations and LPAR configuration. HMC use and administration was part of the daily tasks. The SAN consisted of Hitachi 9570 and a Brocade Silkworm 3800.
